Our Clients - SCFA
The Suffolk County Firefighter's Academy had need of a custom application to help them better manage/track their certifications, enrollments, and per-student course accomplishments (prerequisites and the like).
As is our standard practice, we began with going over the project requirements with members of the SCFA staff to formulate an efficient development strategy, making sure to gather as much information as we could, to make the first draft as close as possible to the concept that they had in mind. During this process, we always find occasion to raise questions that may not have been covered while discussing requirements, as it avoids surprises for both parties, and helps to keep costs lower for both as well. In the case of SCFA, they had been very effective at expressing what was needed right out of the gate, which had a dramatically positive impact on the speed at which the application came together.
