Position Summary:

As a software engineer at Light Speed Solutions, your role is to assemble code into working applications and to update and fix problems in existing software. Primary duties of the software engineer also involve programming computers, developing working software solutions and building the tools that drive results for our clients. Since the software engineer will play an integral part in the development of software applications for computer systems, programming skills are required, as well as design and conceptual skills. General duties of the software engineer also include but are not limited to building database structures, embedding the software necessary to make applications function, generating code to help a computer perform and writing consumer-level applications.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Math, Engineering preferred

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of software engineer work experience
• Expertise in Object Oriented design and development, preferably .Net/Java/PHP/ASP
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in Agile SDLC Desired
• Independent working and decision-making skills
• Self-driven, goal-oriented and strong interpersonal skills
• Easily adaptable to a fast–paced environment
• Ability to interact with clients

Skills:

• Experience in C#, VB.net, Java, ASP.net, MVC, Javascript, PHP, AJAX
• Experience in XML, XSL, XSLT
• Experience in Oracle or Microsoft SQL or and MySQL

Career Opportunities: SharePoint Architect

Position Summary:

Light Speed Solutions is seeking a candidate with a background in SharePoint administration and development to design, develop, test, implement, and support SharePoint and other in-house .NET technology applications. Our SharePoint architect will work with architecting, designing, setting up and implementing systems for our clients. The SharePoint architect will also develop and enhance SharePoint based web applications and translate customer requirements into task-level, individual work plans for projects. Among other general responsibilities, the SharePoint architect will apply analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate business processes and maximize the benefit of technology solutions. You will also ensure the stable performance of the infrastructure environment, identifying, resolving and properly escalating issues.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of work experience with Microsoft SharePoint
• SharePoint Designer experience including custom workflows
• Administrator experience – system set-up, creating sites, lists, back-up
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Installation experience from design to deployment
• Ability to work on project teams and multiple project simultaneously
• Ability to design and manage several concurrent projects
• Previous experience in developing custom web parts for SharePoint

Position Summary:

Your role as an account executive at Light Speed Solutions is to provide an ongoing connection with clients, acting as an advocate for each client within the company. You will ensure that each client receives the care promised upon the initial establishment of the business relationship, provide support for clients, maintain a current profile for each client and work independently to build a more fruitful client base. Methods for building a client base include but are not limited to positive word of mouth from current clients and traditional methods of selling to attract attention. Light Speed Solutions is seeking in an account executive include knowledge, articulation and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer care to each client. We expect our account executive to respect client confidentiality and to serve each client with competence and professional grace.
